ECiv B122C Calculus II

The aim of this course is to provide the first-year student of the BSc. In Civil Engineering program with the necessary mathematical tools to solve analytical problems and adequately complete design tasks. A matrix is a rectangular array of numbers (real or complex) or functions arranged in rows and columns and enclosed in brackets. Two matrices can be added or subtracted element by element .Two matrices can be multiplied only when the number of columns in the first equals the number of rows in the second. computational skills to solve linear systems of equations Using various matrix methods including Creamers Rule, Inverse Method and Gauss-Elimination Method. Calculate eigenvalues and Eigen vectors. find determinants of matrices. Vector spaces are the subject of linear algebra and are well characterized by their dimension. Add two vectors, just like how we can add two numbers, but things get a little tricky when we try to multiply vector. It turns out that there are two useful ways to do this: the dot product, and the cross product.
