This module introduces students to architectural design methodology as a structured way of thinking and working in design. It explores how design problems are understood, developed, and controlled through different processes and approaches. The module prepares students to apply design methods critically in both academic studios and professional practice.

By the end of this module, students will be able to:

1.      Demonstrate a theoretical understanding of architectural design methodology, process structures, and design control mechanisms.

2.      Systematically analyze architectural problems using methodological, analytical, and decision-based frameworks.

3.      Apply appropriate design methodologies to architectural design studios, case studies, and complex design scenarios.

4.      Critically evaluate and justify design decisions and processes within academic discourse and professional practice
